PRODUCT : THERMAL OXIDISER « CINCLUS »

The process « CINCLUS® » includes two main elements:

  • The "multifluid" combustor

    The fluids are admitted separately in the combustor and emulsified in the injection head by aerodynamic means using the energy of compressed air. The homogeneity of the emulsion does not result in the formation of a classical flame, but causes a reaction mass in the entire combustion chamber.

    The design of the combustor allows operation even with heavily loaded liquids

  • The reactor «CINCLUS®»:

    The perfect homogenization temperatures is achieved by the internal recirculation of products ensuring their active destruction of 99.999 %. Stabilized operation is achieved from 900 ° C, allowing self-combustion of products with very low calorific value.

    The result is:
    • Oxidation reactions fast and complete with low excess air.
    • Minimum fuel consumption.
    • Minimizing the formation of NOx.

This innovative mode of operation is totally different from the traditional method that uses a boiler burner with gas injection through a peripheral ring. He is the only one who can ensure a homogeneous mixture of the products to be destroyed and therefore a high combustion efficiency.

Depending of the characteristics of the products to be treated, the flows considered and the industrial environment, the unit may include some or all of the following elements:

  • A SECONDARY REACTION CHAMBER, capable of receiving waste gas or multiple vapor injection
  • A smoke-tube boilers or water tube depending on the size of the unit, the nature of the fumes, the presence of dust, etc..
  • An EXHAUST FAN and a STACK, with its equipment
  • A centralized SUPERVISION AND SECURITY CONTROL panel making the total control unit fully automated

To optimize the energy balance of the installation, we typically include a boiler for energy recovery.

The thermal oxidation process "Cinclus ®", allows also to minimize liquid discharges into the environment during the processing of cooking or drying. This can sometimes prevent the investment of a liquid waste processing unit. To be discussed on a case by case basis.

In addition, by using the polluted air coming out of the surrounding equipment as combustion air of the oxidizer, the Cinclus process reduces drastically the odors in and around the facility.

Energy recovery

In the treatment of waste gases and vapors - products with low calorific values - an important part of the cost of operation is the consumption of support fuel.

We include therefore in the process all the elements to optimize the energy balance of the combustion plant. We try to valorize at their best the calories contained in the effluents and those provided by the fuel.

This extra fuel could equally be natural gas, biogas, fat from the rendering plant, fuel...
