SIL offers in combination with its horizontal dryer different pelleting press. Granulation facilitates storage and transportation of dried sludge

The line consists of a granulation mixer buffer, a pelleting press with a vertically integrated die and a counter current cooler.
The press is composed of several parts: a die (cylindrical matrix with many cylindrical holes on its periphery, allowing the calibration of the granulates), two rollers (wheels) located within the matrix and forcing the dried product under pressure through the holes. Knives outside the matrix cut the pellets output.
The pellets go through a chiller to allow storage in good conditions. A screener is foreseen to reduce dust levels. The recycling of dust is provided by a screw.
