The presses proposed are of the type: ring die, vertical, rotary, fixed on the hollow shaft by bolted clamps.
To facilitate maintenance, disassembly is quick with a release screw.
It consists of two compression rollers, honeycomb nested on the fixed shaft, with micrometer adjustment and with a scraper distributing the sludge distribution in the granulation chamber.
A pivot shaft in forged steel machined is mounted on large bronze bushings, with retaining support in a sturdy welded frame also forming the frame of the press. The two knife supports are adjustable in operation and mounted on the chassis. This assembly allows the opening of the door without disturbing the knives. A second access door is provided to facilitate access to the granulation chamber. A chute in stainless steel ensures the descent of the sludge with permanent magnet. The common chassis-motor consists of a base plate receiving the press and the motor with its belts transmission system.
